Functioning

1️⃣ registration and submission of CV and deposit (usually after obtaining your Working Holiday Visa).

2️⃣ Interview with a Canadian employer (30 minutes online).

5️⃣ Arrival in Canada , settling into accommodation and starting work within 48 hours.

📅 Dates

It is possible to arrive in February and work until October. Arrivals are preferred in February, but are possible year-round except in November.
🕒 Minimum stay: 6 months, or 3 months in summer (June-August or July-September)

Since Canada has a limited quota of visas, it is advisable to start the process at the beginning of January to guarantee obtaining the visa (or the year before if possible).

First and foremost, it's essential to understand the context of the job market in Canada. Unlike in Australia and New Zealand, finding employment is often more difficult , especially in the short term. The recruitment process often begins well in advance. While it's possible to find a last-minute job just before the season, the main challenge often lies in finding accommodation.

As a French speaker, you have a significant advantage in the eyes of employers . Given that the country is bilingual, your fluency in French will be highly valued.

💰 Wages :
- 💵 Minimum 16 CAD/hour with possibility of increase.
- 🕒 Approximately 30 hours/week , sometimes more during peak season. Employees are encouraged to take vacation during the off-season and prohibited from taking leave during the peak season (summer).
