Functioning

Orientation in Daegu:
Begin with a 4-week orientation program in Daegu, with monthly departures. During this time, you will be accommodated in centrally located apartments reserved exclusively for program participants. We highly recommend taking intensive language courses (5 sessions per week) to maximize your immersion and enrich your experience.

Placement in Seoul:
During the 4th week, interviews are conducted to secure your job placement. Participants with a good command of Korean will have access to positions involving customer interaction, while roles requiring less language proficiency will be offered to beginners.
Although we cannot provide the employer's name or the exact position in advance, we guarantee every participant a job offer after the initial 4 weeks. In the event of an unsuccessful first interview, additional appointments will be scheduled.

Profile

  • Meeting the requirements for a working holiday visa in Korea

  • You must have conversational Korean skills to understand work instructions. If your Korean is insufficient, you can first spend a month in Daegu or Seoul taking intensive Korean courses through our job assistance partner or our partner school. After a month, your level should be good enough for the job.

  • We expect you to be flexible and not exclude positions without valid reason.
  • You are expected to be serious and motivated to complete your work. Once the position has been confirmed and you have accepted it, you should not cancel your commitment for minor reasons. Punctuality and meticulous execution of your tasks are required! Excellent work ethic is expected of you; it's part of Korean culture! This may involve demanding work with shifts that end late at night and begin early in the morning. 

Type of work

Helping in the kitchen, washing dishes, handling luggage, room service, setting tables, cleaning, preparing pizzas or burgers, and other similar activities.

Wages

All positions offer at least the legal hourly wage (9860 won or €6.20 min.) or slightly higher.
