Interested in participating in projects related to environmental protection, wildlife, whales...?
Participating in nature projects or doing eco-volunteering in Australia or New Zealand: why? The trend is clearly towards green, environmental protection , the rehabilitation of habitats to their original state, the protection of endangered species, the planting of trees, the elimination of non-native species and plants... in short, investing in our planet ... before it is too late.
If you are one of those who want to contribute positively to the environment, nature projects are a great opportunity to do your bit, or rather, contribute your plant or tree to save the / your planet.
Dedicating two or more weeks to nature projects—planting trees, building boardwalks to allow tourists to admire nature without damaging it, protecting turtles, penguins, wallabies, echidnas —that's the goal of these nature projects. If you want to offset the greenhouse gas emissions of your long trip to Australia or New Zealand, this is a great way to do it.
Our recommendation? Do a 2-in-1 program of diving and protecting the Great Barrier Reef! In addition to contributing to environmental protection, you will dive several times and discover it in a different way.
These nature projects take place year-round and can be a valuable addition to your holiday in Australia or New Zealand . No scientific background or fluency in English is required. All skills are welcome. All you need is a desire to make a positive contribution to the environment.
There is a participation fee to help the local association cover the costs of accommodation, transport, equipment, and food throughout your workcamps. If you wish to visit several regions during your working holiday, you will be responsible for the travel costs between regions. However, your participation fee covers all travel costs during the workcamps themselves.
