Who is the Basic WHV Pack designed for?

The Basic Package is designed for independent travelers who want to go on a Working Holiday Visa without integrated language courses. It's the ideal option if you have a sufficient level of English to manage on your own once you arrive, if you want a secure environment upon arrival, or if you're going on your first Working Holiday Visa and want to avoid administrative hassles (visa, bank, SIM card, initial accommodation). If you're a beginner in English or want a guaranteed job upon arrival, we recommend our Standard or Plus Packages.

FAQ – Your questions about the Basic Working Holiday Visa Package

What is the difference between the Basic Package and the other packages?
The Basic Package is the entry-level option: it includes flights, initial accommodation, transfers (depending on the destination), and Job Assistance, but does not include language courses. The Standard and Plus Packages include courses and, for some options, a guaranteed job upon arrival.

Is travel insurance mandatory for a Working Holiday Visa?
It's not legally required in all countries, but it's strongly recommended and, in Australia, required to obtain the visa. VisaVacancesTravail.be can guide you towards suitable insurance for your Working Holiday Visa through our partner Assur-Travel.

Can I travel alone with the Basic Pack?
Absolutely. The Basic Pack is ideal for travelers who want to travel independently while benefiting from professional support (assistance, job assistance, initial accommodation).

Is Job Assistance available in all cities?
Full Job Assistance is available in the cities marked with an asterisk (*) on our website: Sydney, Melbourne, Darwin (Australia), Vancouver, Toronto (Canada), Auckland, Queenstown (New Zealand), Daegu (South Korea).

Can I change my return ticket after my departure?
Yes, subject to a change fee and possibly an additional charge. If you plan to stay longer than a year, we recommend booking a one-way ticket.

Is the visa included in the Basic Package for all destinations?
No. The visa is only included for Australia. For Canada, New Zealand, and South Korea, you must apply for your visa yourself using our tutorials available on the website.

How does registration for the Basic Package work?
It all starts with a free online information session. You'll then receive an email detailing the services for your destination, and then you can register online. Our team will take care of booking all the services.

Is the Basic Pack suitable for first-timers on long-term travel?
Yes, that is precisely its purpose: to offer you a safety net upon arrival (accommodation, transfer, job assistance) while leaving you free to manage your stay at your own pace.
